When we say “values-aligned,” we mean teams and organizations that are actively working toward racial, economic, and social equity. In practice, that looks like providing support, services, advocacy, or resources for communities who are often marginalized or underserved, such as BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ people, migrants and immigrants, people with low income, elders, differently abled and neurodiverse people, and others facing systemic barriers.
“Mission-driven” simply means your work is guided by a clear purpose beyond profit, whether that’s providing a service to marginalized communities, advocating for civil rights and access, working in social services, involved in community organizing or resourcing, legal advocacy, or other forms of justice-centered and community-centered work.

Yes. We provide extended leave coverage planning, including and not limited to: sabbaticals, extended medical leave, parental leave etc. We also help fill operational gaps during or after staff transitions.
-
At the start of every project, we take time to understand the team as individuals so we can build support that is human-centered and realistic. Our approach is based on the idea that mission progress depends on advocates who are supported, well-resourced, and able to do their best work without burning out. We lead with transparency and stay flexible as needs change throughout the process.
In other words: It’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it that sets us apart. We use Change Management principals that focus on identifying and addressing individual support gaps, and coach team leads on how to identify these support needs once our engagement ends, leaving teams with guides on how to address friction with curiosity and emapthy, while fostering effective and sustainable workloads. -
We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

Being a 1099 independent contractor means:
You are purchasing services, not adding an employee to payroll.
You do not need to run payroll, withhold taxes, or provide employee benefits for me.
At year’s end, if you meet the IRS thresholds, you may issue a Form 1099-NEC to Russell & Co, Admin Partners to report payments, rather than a W-2.
In short, we’re responsible for our own taxes, insurance, and business operations. You - as the client - are responsible only for paying invoices for the agreed-upon work and keeping basic records for your books.
-
We operate as a 1099 independent contractors, not W-2 employees, so you’re not “hiring” us onto your staff, you’re contracting with our company for services. When you hire our specialists, you are engaging Russell & Co, Admin Partners, however in practice you’ll be working directly with the specialist as your operations partner throughout the duration of the engagement.
