Adina "Dee” Russell
They/She
Founder & Principal
Adina “Dee” Russell (They/She) is an American University Alum, and social justice activist that brings a decade of experience crafting operating systems for teams across the country. While in Washington, DC Dee served as a Research Coordinator at Capstone, a Global Strategy & Policy Analysis firm, where they built foundational procedures for the Outreach Department, planned and coordinated dozens of events, while supporting policy research projects on behalf of Capstone’s team of analysts. In 2019 Dee relocated to Georgia and refocused their time in movement work for orgs such as Women Engaged, and the Georgia Affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) where they worked in the Philanthropy Department as the Development Coordinator for half a decade.
After expanding her family and moving on from fundraising operations, Dee branched out to consulting for multiple organizations running data security audits and managing projects for organizations across the country. Currently, Dee sits on the board of Access Reproductive Care South-East, The Bayard Rustin Institute, and the Black Diaspora Liberty Initiative (BDLI) and is the Founder & Principal of Russell & Co, Admin Partners. Dee brings corporate-level structure and insight to grassroots advocacy teams committed to the mission of building healthy communities across the nation. In their free time, Dee enjoys music, creating art, and spending time with their family, friends, and fur babies.
Jean-Baptiste M. Saint-Cyr
He/Him
Legal Services Consultant
Jean-Baptiste joined Russell & Co in 2026, with a background in paralegal support, immigration case management, and administrative operations and currently serves as the Legal Services Consultant at Russell & Co. Fluent in English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, Jean-Baptiste brings a rare capacity to serve diverse, multilingual client bases with clarity and care. Jean spends his free time between Santo Domingo, Haiti, and Atlanta, while staying curious about real estate, agriculture.

“I grew up between the bustle of New York City, and a small village in Southern Germany: two worlds that couldn’t have been more different. From the time I was in grade school I’ve known that this world was not built with people like me in mind. My experience as a young, Black & unknowingly Queer child instilled in me a deep empathy for anyone who has ever felt like they had to carve out space for themselves in order to thrive.
That understanding led me to dedicate my life to social justice. I learned that parts of my identity, things I had no control over: my race, assigned sex, and superficially formed perceptions of who I was, often determined opportunities, access, and belonging. From decade to decade I noticed the importance of my identify would shift with political winds, swift and detached at the best of times, and dangerous at their worst. I wanted to protect the children who went unprotected and often looked like me, so they never had to endure that same pain as I did… so I worked towards building a future and space where their uniqueness is their strength, not their barrier.
This collective was born from that same intention. It’s a space for people who chose to build the vision of the future they wished to see. For the dreamers who struck out on their own, shaping their futures by hand, and the activists I spent years working with, who give their all to causes bigger than themselves:
This is not just a firm, this collective is our community.
I founded Russell & Co, to be a place of support, strategy, co-learning, radical love and deeper understanding… shoulders to lean on backed by years of lived experience, trial and error, and the lessons learned from navigating both advocacy, the private sector, and entrepreneurship. When you work with us, you work with people who have walked the same road, tripped on the same rocks, and crossed the same troubled waters. My mission is simple: create a collective of advocates for the advocates. To stop burn out culture, share the work, and stand beside the small shops, independents, and professional activists as the ally and resource they’ve always deserved.”
